Greetings Dear SUIS Qingpu Community,
I am the Head of High School. I was born and raised in Turkey Istanbul. This is my 8th year in China and 22nd year in education. As a leader (10 years), an ex-IBDP Coordinator and teacher of English and TOK, I have experience designing and delivering programmes.
“What really matters in a school is what happens in the classroom.”
I truly appreciate our school’s motto “What really matters in a school is what happens in the classroom.” I believe in people. At the very core of my teaching philosophy and practice is a guiding belief that everyone is destined to leave a mark in this world and lead a meaningful life. As an educator, it is our duty to inspire, motivate and support students in innovative learning, mastering key skills and acquiring cognitive excellence.
Add value to a teacher’s life
I collaboratively work with my teachers, and it is through this focus on learning and continuation of developing one’s craft, we can add value to a teacher’s life but also the student who benefits from a teacher with exceptional competencies and skills. This successfully captures the whole essence of Shanghai United International School – SUIS and it propels us forward to a world class institute through engagement and transformational learning.
