When a child enters a new school, a new grade, or a new class,
are you worried about whether your child can adapt to life at a new school?
How is the state-of-learning of your child?
As a parent,
how can you improve your mentality to help children better adapt to the pace of life in a new school?
Ms. Chen Mo

On September 24, 2020, our school invited Ms. Chen Mo, an expert in psychological counseling for children and adolescents, and a special consultant from the mental health education and counseling center of East China Normal University, to discuss with parents how to raise children from a psychological perspective and provide fuel for their children’s growth.
Ms. Chen opened her lecture in a spirit of warmth and welcome. She enumerated many parent-child phenomena in humorous language, enacting each education scene with dynamic body language, and analyzed the psychological characteristics and needs of children in a very concise manner. She expressed her own unique opinions on the students’ emotions and parents’ treatment methods, which resonated strongly among parents and alleviated worry in the hearts of parents.
At the end of the lecture, Ms. Chen gave an on-the-spot opportunity to parents to share their problems in educating their children in their daily life, and gave wise and professional answers, which helped many parents.
Many parents said that through the lecture, they realized that parents’ mentality and parent-child relationship had a great impact on their children’s psychological growth. As the primary caregivers, parents should adjust their own mentality, clarify their role and function, and constantly grow themselves, so that they can continue to protect their children and enable them to acquire more energy and improve!
