SUIS Gubei’s brilliant learners have achieved outstanding results in the 2026 UK Chemistry Olympiad (UKChO) with their excellent performance. We have won 5 Global Gold Awards, 5 Global Silver Awards and 1 Global Bronze Award, with 4 students qualifying for St Catharine’s College, Cambridge Chemistry Camp.

UK Chemistry Olympiad (UKChO)
Organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), the UK Chemistry Olympiad (UKChO) is a world-renowned, authoritative chemistry competition with a 56year history. As one of the most prestigious, academically rigorous and influential competitions for high school students worldwide, it serves as an advanced extension of standard high school chemistry curricula.
The competition aims to broaden students’ academic horizons, deepen their chemical knowledge, and cultivate advanced thinking and independent problemsolving skills. It effectively prepares participants for universitylevel study and scientific research.
Open to outstanding high school chemistry students globally, UKChO presents three official global award categories: Global Gold, Global Silver, and Global Bronze. It offers a prestigious international platform for students to demonstrate academic excellence, compete with peers worldwide, and strengthen their academic profiles for future university applications.
