In order to select and cultivate outstanding students with exceptional potential who aim to apply to the world’s top universities, the “SUIS-GB Elite Programme” will be officially implemented starting from the 2nd semester of the 2025-26 school year.

PART 01
Target Scope
This Programme targets outstanding students in Grades 9-12 from SUIS-GB who demonstrate exceptional potential and aim to apply to universities listed in the Designated University List 2025 (see below). The selection quota is 2% of the total number of students in the relevant grades.
PART 02
Selection Method
G9：Transition Scholarship
▆ Hongqiao Campus and Jiaoke Campus will recommend candidates based on their comprehensive performance from G6 to G8. The final list of selected students will be confirmed following interviews conducted by the SUIS-GB Elite Program Committee.
G10：Elite Scholarship
▆ SUIS-GB will finalize the list of candidates based on students’ academic records from the start of G9 to the annual review day, as well as their IGCSE examination results.
▆ Selected students shall submit their portfolios, personal statements and attend the final interview of the SUIS-GB Elite Program Committee within the specified timeframe.
G11：Elite Scholarship
▆ SUIS-GB will finalize the list of candidates based on students’ academic records from the start of G10 to the annual review day, as well as their IGCSE examination results.
▆ Selected students shall submit their portfolios, personal statements and attend the final interview of the SUIS-GB Elite Program Committee within the specified timeframe.
G12：Top University Entrance Scholarship
▆ Grade 12 students who receive (conditional) offers from universities listed in the Designated University List 2025 (see below) will be eligible for the top university entrance scholarships, beyond the 2% selection limit.
PART 03
Scholarship Details
G9：Scholarship equivalent to 50% of SUIS-GB annual tuition
G10 – G11：Scholarship equivalent to full SUIS-GB annual tuition
G12：Scholarship equivalent to full SUIS-GB annual tuition, disbursement rules as follows:
① Conditional offer recipients: 30% of the total scholarship will be awarded first, and the remaining 70% upon final acceptance
② Unconditional offer recipients: 100% of the scholarship will be awarded directly
PART 04
Agreement Mechanism
Selected students and their parents/guardians must sign an agreement committing to completing the entire senior high school studies at SUIS Gubei Campus until graduation.
PART 05
Annual Academic Assessment and Renewal Mechanism
Comprehensive assessment at the end of each school year. If a student’s academic ranking drops below the top 10% of their grade, a re-evaluation will be conducted. Vacant positions will be filled by eligible outstanding students.
