Students at SUIS Gubei are regularly developing themselves physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. This is achieved by a truly well-rounded and holistic education that targets more than just academic success, and this is exemplified by the well-established Extended Curricular Activities (ECA) programme whereby students have the opportunity to engage in new and interesting pursuits.
ECAs also have the added benefit of contributing to major components in the IB Diploma Programme’s CAS requirement, as well as the university admissions process and hopefully developing life-long interests.

The multitude of possibilities that students can pick from as part of the ECA programme was shown in its entirety during the ECA fair that ran in the first week back of the new school year. This had a huge variety of returning and new activities, as well as many student proposed and lead activities that give them the opportunity to showcase their own interests and give other students the opportunity to embrace them as well.
This was followed by a very successful start to the ECA calendar the next week, with the first round of ECA activities starting and being enjoyed by all members of the school. We expect Gubei students to seize challenges and learn new things.
