Congratulations！WUIS officially become the hosting school for TOEFL youth test, which means that the local examinees can come to our school to take part in the test directly! Concord has been officially authorized to undertake TOEFL youth test. We plan to hold spring and autumn TOEFL youth test on May 15 (Saturday) and October 23, 2021 (Saturday), respectively. We welcome all the candidates who need to sign up for the test.

TOEFL YONG STUDENT SERIES：The TOEFL young students series, as an important member of the ETS family, is an extension of the TOEFL test to middle and low age students. It focuses on the needs of young English learners and accurately evaluates students’ English language ability. TOEFL primary test and TOEFL junior test are included. Among them, TOEFL primary is for students aged 5-12, with two levels, step 1 and step 2. TOEFL Junior is for students aged 11-17, and the test results are widely recognized, providing support for future English learning.

Why take the test：The results of the TOEFL test simply reflect the students’ current reading and listening level. It is not just a score, but a complete report reflecting the students’ language level. In the report, the expert group will describe in detail what the students can do based on their current English level, and provide feasible suggestions on how to improve their English in the future; The context of TOEFL test questions and test preparation materials are based on daily life or academic scenes, which is helpful for students to understand and be familiar with foreign life and academic environment, and is a bridge to help students integrate into the international environment.

How to choose the right test：1. According to the age, the senior middle school students are suitable for TOEFL primary step 2, while the senior middle school students and junior middle school students are suitable for TOEFL junior.

2. According to the level of English, TOEFL primary step 2 mainly serves the students who have mastered the basic English communicative competence. TOEFL junior test is mainly used to measure students’ English language learning level in campus academic life and daily life, including reading comprehension, listening comprehension, language form and meaning understanding.

3. In terms of test duration, TOEFL primary step 2 takes 1 hour and the validity period of the test results is 1 year. The TOEFL junior test lasts for one hour and 55 minutes, and the results are valid for two years.
